Tochigi Nikon 300mm T2.2 & Nikkor 300mm f/2.0
自1983年7月，Nikkor 300mm F2.0 大光圈長焦距鏡頭成為拍攝運動攝影師手中的利器，而這顆傳奇鏡頭亮相於1984年奧林匹克運動會時更成為一時佳話，但因為成本高昂而訂單不足；最後至1985年，只生產了總共441支便宣佈停產。
而今次主要想介紹的 Tochigi Nikon 300mm T2.2, 屬於二十一世紀之產物，由2001年開始研發生產，主要用於拍攝數碼電影之用，於2002年Nikon 與一家電影公司達成協議，以US$30,000一顆的價錢，一共生產了20顆給那家電影公司，但後來那家電影公司又不知為何取消了那訂單，幸好Nikon沒有因此取消生產計劃，更以更低的價錢US$20,000 公開發售給一些電影公司及業餘天文攝影師，分別配以ARRI PL/ B4 或Nikon F接環出售。
