The Contarex was the result of decades of experience of one of the largest, most famous and ingenious manufacturers and top brand of cameras and optical systems. Contarex I (Bullseye) which was first introduced at the Photokina in 1958. But the Contarex was not just a merger between the Contax and the Contaflex.
