Nikkor 300mm F2.0 lens was released in July 1983, it was a high definition lens sought by sports photographers providing faster shutter speed to better capture the gentler moving actions of athletes and destined to cover events at the 1984 Olympics. However, because of high production cost and insufficient orders, only 441 lenses were manufactured till 1985.

Leica have produced 1320 units of M3 Black Paint since 1959. After half a century, less than 30 perfect black paint M3s remain. The black paint was not too durable and was easily scratched. The majority units of Black Paint M3 are in rather poor condition, as they were assigned to the war correspondents or photographers.

Leica M1 Olive, military cameras for West Germany, produced 208 units in total. M1 is a simplified version of M2. M1 has no rangefinder and the left illuminating window is covered. The exclusive special edition Leica M9 “Titanium” has finally landed in Hong Kong. The Leica M9 “Titanium” is the result of collaboration with Walter de’Silva, the prominent automobile designer of the Volkswagen Group. The special edition is strictly limited to just 500 cameras worldwide. All visible metal elements of the camera body are made from solid titanium. Scratch-resistant, sapphire-crystal glass is employed as a protective cover for the camera monitor. The camera’s trim uses leather typically reserved for the interiors of Audi’s premium automobile.
